Kiran Khanal

Kiran Khanal, PhD, is a Principal Data Scientist at Walgreens Boots Alliance since February 2023, previously serving as a Data Scientist/Engineer at Randstad Technologies US from June 2022 to February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Techlantis, where a predictive model for estimating residential rent was developed, and a Data Science Fellow at SharpestMinds, focusing on a discount shopping recommendation service. Kiran has also instructed physics courses at Western Texas College and Lehigh Carbon Community College, in addition to conducting research on greenhouse gases and polymer physics at The University of Akron. Kiran holds a PhD in Physical Science/Polymer Physics and two Master's degrees in Physics from The University of Akron and Tribhuvan University.
