Sandra van Kooten

Sandra van Kooten has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Sandra is currently working as the Director of HR at Walibi Holland since November 2021. Prior to this, Sandra worked for Johan Cruijff ArenA for almost two decades, starting as an HR Manager in January 2002 and eventually taking on the responsibility of setting up and expanding the HR department. Sandra also worked as an interim HR Advisor at Zwanenberg Food Group from May 2001 to January 2002. Before that, Sandra was a Consultant Recruitment at Van den Boogaart personeelszaken, focusing on recruiting HR managers at various levels. Sandra gained experience in the hospitality industry as an Assistant Personnel Manager at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, overseeing HR functions and reporting to the General Manager. Sandra also worked as an interim HR Advisor at Van Leer Nederland BV. Sandra began their career as a Junior Consultant at Andriessen HRM.

Sandra van Kooten has a Bachelor's degree in HRM (personnel & labour) from Hogeschool Haarlem, which they completed from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Hotelschool Amsterdam from 1993 to 1997, where they studied Hotel and Hospitality management.
