Greg Maczka has a diverse work experience in various industries. Greg is currently the CEO of Walkboard, a move management technology platform. In this role, they focus on building teams and empowering them to deliver exceptional service.
Before their current position, Greg was the Founding Principal at GEM Strategy Consulting from 2014 to 2016. Greg also founded Empeerical, a data company that provided transparency for life insurance shoppers.
Greg has also worked at Transamerica, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Research Manager, they led and managed qualitative and quantitative research projects in product development, content marketing, and market segment strategy. Greg was also a Product Innovation Manager at Transamerica, leading cross-functional teams in designing various life insurance products and providing training and support for sales and marketing leaders.
Earlier in their career, Greg worked as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst Intern at The Capital Group Companies, Inc., where they developed an offshore sourcing strategy and conducted cost variance analyses for IT infrastructure and operations.
Greg also gained experience as an Actuarial Associate at Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) from 2004 to 2009.
Greg Maczka received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Michigan in 2003. Greg went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) specializing in Marketing, Strategy and Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, completing their degree in 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Greg obtained the Associate of the Society of Actuaries certification from the Society of Actuaries in May 2006.
