Joe Legge

Joe Legge is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in public relations and news broadcasting. Currently serving as the Director of Public Relations for Walker County Government since January 2017, Joe Legge is responsible for managing press relationships and crafting communication materials such as press releases and speeches. Prior to this role, Joe Legge spent over a decade as a Morning News Anchor at WDEF-TV, where duties included producing and anchoring news segments, correcting story errors, and engaging with the community through social media and public appearances. Additional experience includes positions as Weekend Anchor/Reporter at WCYB/WEMT/CW4 and various roles in earlier television and radio stations. Joe Legge holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University.
