Blair Priest

Blair Priest has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting in 2001, Blair worked at Cushman & Wakefield, where they held various positions, including Director, Certified General Appraiser. In this role, they performed over 500 appraisal assignments of commercial real property. Blair also worked as an Associate, Certified General Appraiser and gained experience in detailed financial modeling and market analysis. Blair then transitioned to the field of finance and joined Walker & Dunlop in 2013. Blair held multiple roles at the company, including Senior Underwriter and AVP & Team Lead, Credit Underwriting. Currently, Blair is serving as the SVP & Deputy Chief Underwriter at Walker & Dunlop. Their responsibilities include underwriting loans and leading the team on various financing portfolios. Before their career in finance, Blair received the Diplôme de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris after completing culinary training.

Blair Priest earned a BA degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University in the years 1997 to 2001. In 2012, Blair also obtained a Diplôme de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Additionally, Blair has certifications as a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators in 2011, an Advanced Certificate - Pass with Distinction from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in 2011, and an Intermediate Certificate - Pass with Merit from WSET in 2010. Blair also possesses certifications as a Certified General Appraiser from the North Carolina Appraisal Board, Virginia Real Estate Appraiser Board, and the State of South Carolina Dept. of Labor, Licensing & Regulation, although the year of obtaining these certifications is not specified.
