Renjie Song

Renjie Song, FSA has a diverse work experience in data science, actuarial science, and consulting. Renjie is currently serving as the VP of Data Science and Machine Learning at W&D Technology, where they oversee data science and machine learning initiatives. Prior to that, they held the position of VP of Data Science at Walker & Dunlop. Renjie also has experience as a Founder and Principal at Elston Properties LLC, where they were responsible for establishing and leading the company. In addition, they worked as a Data Scientist at Google, a Senior Data Scientist at Quantium, and a Director of Actuarial Data Science at Vida Capital. Renjie also has experience as a Consulting Actuary at Milliman and as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting.

Renjie Song, FSA has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math, Computer Science, and Business from Kalamazoo College, completed in 2013. They pursued a Master of Science in Analytics with a specialization in Computational Data Analytics Track from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their degrees, Renjie has obtained various certifications, including "Learning Django" and "Full Stack Web Development with Flask" from LinkedIn in 2020, "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in 2019, and "Analytics Micro Master: Essential Tools and Methods" from edX in 2018. They also hold the prestigious designation of Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in 2018 and became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) in December 2016.
