Sheri Thompson

Sheri Thompson has extensive work experience in the financial and real estate sectors. Sheri is currently employed at Walker & Dunlop as the Executive Vice President and Head of Affordable Housing and Investment Management, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Vice President and Head of FHA Lending at Walker & Dunlop from July 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Walker & Dunlop in 2019, Sheri worked at PGIM Real Estate Finance as the Chief Operating Officer of the Agency Lending Group from December 2013 to December 2018. Sheri also has previous experience at Red Capital Group, where they held the position of Senior Managing Director and Chief Underwriter from October 1997 to December 2013. Sheri started their career at Walker & Dunlop in 1995 as an Underwriter and then worked at Frank S Phillips & Associates as an Underwriter from 1993 to 1995.

Sheri Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Real Estate and Business Law from The Pennsylvania State University, from 1988 to 1991.
