Susan Nunnally has over 20 years of experience in the asset management and real estate industry. Susan began their career as a Legal Assistant at Greenwald, Pauly, Foster & Miller, where they provided administrative support for transactional real estate work. In 2000, they joined Alliant Asset Management as an Acquisitions Coordinator, responsible for the review and initial distribution of due diligence for low-income housing tax credit projects. Susan later became the Vice President of Acquisitions, closing deals worth nearly $200 million in equity for multi-family and single-family projects.
In 2008, Susan moved to Alliant Asset Management / Newport Partners, LLC, where they served as Vice President of Asset Management until 2023. Their role involved overseeing a portfolio of 76 multi-family properties syndicated through the low-income housing tax credit program. Susan ensured that the properties operated in accordance with various governing agreements and financial projections, conducted regular inspections, reviewed budgets and financials, and approved capital call requests.
Susan recently joined Walker & Dunlop as Vice President of Asset Management, beginning in 2023. In this role, they are responsible for a portfolio of 76 multi-family properties located throughout the United States and syndicated through the low-income housing tax credit program. Their primary duties include monitoring operating conformance, reviewing and approving budgets and financials, and conducting physical inspections.
Susan Nunnally received a BBA in Finance from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business in the years 1978 to 1981. Susan also obtained a Certificate from Southeastern Paralegal Institute, although no specific dates were provided for this accomplishment.
