Laura Gitre

Laura Gitre has had a long and successful career in the healthcare industry. In 1985, they began their career as a Director at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan. In 2006, they moved to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as a Senior Technical Project Manager. In 2007, they took a position as Vice President at Morgan Bradley. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at NASCO in various roles, including Director of NASCO Steady State Team and Director of Migrations. In 2017, they moved to COBX, a subsidiary of BCBSM, as Director of the Program Management Office. In 2016, they took a position as Director of Technology Integration at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In 2021, they retired from the Gitre family. In 2022, they rejoined the workforce as Vice President of Client Delivery at WalkerHealthcareIT.

Laura Gitre holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, where they studied Operations Research and Information Systems.
