Tommy Watson

Tommy Watson GCGI has over 26 years of experience in the military and 12 years of experience in supporting and developing services for ex-forces and veterans. Tommy has held various roles in different organizations, including Director of Operations at Walking With The Wounded, where they supported and developed integrated regional services and operations across the UK. Tommy also served as a Regional Operations Manager at the same organization, where they established a Veterans Hub in North Shields and collaborated with government, education, training, and charitable organizations. Prior to that, they worked as a National Veterans Programme Manager at Forces Employment Charity, where they designed and implemented a national employment support program for ex-forces personnel. Tommy also served as the National Armed Forces Resource Manager at Persimmon Homes, where they managed and coordinated a traineeship program to transition ex-serving and reserve forces personnel into the house building industry. Tommy Watson's military experience includes serving in various roles, such as a Training Company Warrant Officer, Infantry Company Sergeant Major, and Light Role Reconnaissance Instructor in the British Army.

Tommy Watson GCGI has a diverse education history. Tommy began their education in 1985 at the British Army, where they pursued a CG Level 6 in Management, completing their studies in 2012. In that same year, they obtained a Diploma in Advice & Guidance from Hammond Park. In 2007, Tommy attended Darlington College to earn an A1 Assessor qualification. From 2000 to 2005, they studied Education for Promotion Level 1 & 2 at 27 AEC. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, Tommy completed a Fellowship in 3rd Sector Leadership at Clore Social Leadership. Tommy has also obtained additional certifications in Level 6 Management from Newcastle College and an NVQ Diploma in Advice and Guidance from OCR.
