David Rand

David Rand is an experienced neuroscience data science consultant currently working at Brainstorm IL and brain.space, while also serving as VP of Scientific Affairs at Walkky. With a background as Co-Founder and Director of Scientific Project Management at X-trodes, David contributed to the development of innovative wearable technology focused on biopotential signals. Prior research roles include a Research Associate position at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, where efforts were directed towards bio-electronic interfaces and soft retinal implants, as well as postdoctoral research on retinal implants using semiconducting materials. David's earlier experience includes research at Tel Aviv University on using insects as UAVs and clinical research management at Algodyne LTD for a device aimed at objective pain assessment. Educational credentials include a PhD in Neurobiology from Tel Aviv University, alongside certifications in Data Science and Machine Learning from Bar-Ilan University.
