Amit Choudhary is the Chief Financial Officer at Wall Street Exchange. Amit has over 10 years of experience in the finance and compliance industry.

Amit started their career at Deloitte in 2010 as an Audit Senior Manager. Amit was promoted to Audit Principal in 2012 and left Deloitte in 2014 to join Waha Capital as Executive Director- Finance and Compliance. Amit was with Waha Capital for 4 years before joining Qatar First Bank (QFB) as Chief Financial Officer in 2018.

During their time at QFB, Amit was responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic direction of the bank. Amit was instrumental in turning around business from loss to profit making through several initiatives like cost restructuring and rationalising, efficient capital deployment and revenue maximisation, etc. Amit also assisted the bank in new product introduction based on market feasibility as part of the bank’s new business plan. Amit structured and streamlined the management and employees’ compensation structure to maximise performance. As head of the finance function, they provided active oversight on regulatory reporting, compliance, governance, internal and external audit functions.

Amit has a proven track record in turnaround situations and driving profitability. Amit is a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills. Amit is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University.

Amit Choudhary graduated from Shree Jain Vidyalaya with a secondary education. Amit then attended St. Xavier's College where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. Amit Choudhary is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales as well as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Amit also has a CGMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and an ACMA from Accounting and Business/Management. Amit Choudhary attended the Financial Strategies for Value Creation program at London Business School and the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard University.

Amit Choudhary reports to Graham Flannery, CEO. They work with Eyhab Al Hunaiti - Head of Technology & Innovation, Lynette Warren - Chief Risk Officer, and Abeer Naffa' - Head of Research & Development.
