Monique Roddy is an Associate Professor of History at Walla Walla University since September 2017, where previous roles included Assistant Professor and Freshman Mentor. Monique has developed and taught undergraduate courses for the School of Theology and the Department of History and Philosophy. As Co-Director of the Balu'a Regional Archaeological Project, ongoing excavations at Khirbat al-Balu'a have been a focus since August 2017. Additionally, Monique serves as Publications Manager for the Center for Near Eastern Archaeology at La Sierra University, overseeing editorial tasks for the Madaba Plains Project publication series. With previous experience as an archaeologist for several projects, including Keros Excavations and Surveys and MANTIS at the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, Monique holds a PhD in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago, where additional graduate and undergraduate degrees were also earned.
