Nicolás Herrero Molina

Nicolás Herrero Molina has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. Nicolás most recently held the position of Director of Data and Analytics at Wallapop since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Analytics at Wallapop from July 2018 to January 2023. Before joining Wallapop, they worked as a Data Scientist at Wallapop from October 2015 to July 2018.

Before their time at Wallapop, Nicolás worked at Davantis Technologies as an R+D Software Engineer in Video Analytics from November 2010 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing computer vision solutions for a video analytics product.

Nicolás also gained experience at Telefónica I+D as a PhD student in 3D computer vision from November 2008 to October 2010. During this time, they were involved in the development of the Video Surfing project.

Their earlier work experience includes research assistant roles at UPC, where they actively participated in the Face ID project and developed C code for face tracking algorithms.

Additionally, they obtained a Master Merit degree in Advanced signal and image processing, biometrics, information theory, pattern classification, and other related subjects from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2008 and 2010.
