Aiste Medeliene

Dr. Aiste Medeliene has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dr. Aiste is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Partner at WALLESS since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner and Head of Tax Practice Group at Ellex Valiunas from January 2017 to December 2018. Dr. Aiste also held the position of an Associate Partner at Valiunas Ellex (previously LAWIN) from July 2011 to December 2016. Additionally, Dr. Medeliene worked as an Associate Professor at Vilnius University from September 2005 to September 2015. Dr. Aiste started their career as a Commissioner at the Commission on Tax Disputes under the Government of Lithuania in November 2000 and continued until July 2011. Prior to that, they briefly worked as a lawyer at Omnitel in 2000.

Dr. Aiste Medeliene's education history is as follows. Dr. Aiste obtained their Bachelor of Laws degree in Tax Law/Taxation from Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University from 1996 to 2001. Subsequently, they pursued their PhD degree in Tax Law from the same institution, completing it from 2001 to 2006. Before their university education, they attended Minties Gymnasium from 1985 to 1996, although details of any degrees or fields of study are not provided for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Aiste Medeliene has acquired a Certificate of Completion in Leadership in Law Firms from Harvard Law School Executive Education in May 2022.
