Ian Muir

Ian Muir is the Senior Director of Data Science at Walmart, where Ian leads the Economics team in utilizing experimentation, causal inference, and behavioral economics to drive strategic decision-making. Prior to their current role, Ian served as the Director of Data Science at Lyft, where Ian managed a team focused on applying economic principles to the company's products and strategies. Before that, Ian led the Ubernomics team at Uber, conducting research on rider and driver incentives. Ian has extensive experience in analytics and research, working with companies such as Affirm, TGG Group, and Citadel Investment Group. Ian holds an Honors BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
