Melissa J Martin

Melissa J Martin is a Senior Research Scientist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research since November 2020, with a robust background in microbiology and infectious diseases. Prior experience includes serving as the American Academy of Microbiology Colloquium Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Society for Microbiology and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, where research focused on antibiotic resistance in Staphylococcus aureus. Martin also held the position of Inaugural Chair for a Gordon Research Seminar, facilitating a conference for emerging scientists.
