Michael Madejczyk

Dr. Michael Madejczyk has a diverse work experience in the field of toxicology and research. Michael currently holds the position of Chief of in vivo Studies / Toxicologist at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Toxicologist at US Army Center for Environmental Health Research from August 2016 to February 2020. Michael also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institution from May 2013 to August 2016. Before joining the US Army, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Rochester from May 2011 to October 2012. Michael initiated their scientific career as a Laboratory Technician IV at the University of Rochester Medical Center from May 2001 to September 2004.

Michael Madejczyk, Ph.D., DABT, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Toxicology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, which they obtained in 2011. Michael also received a Master of Science (M.S.) in Toxicology from the same institution in 2009. Before that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology and Mathematics at Alfred University in 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology in 2015 and various science and technology management certifications from the Department of the Army, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) in 2017.
