Kaylin Mason

Director, Institutional Giving at Walton Arts Center

Kaylin Mason is currently the Director of Institutional Giving at Walton Arts Center. Prior to this, they served as Grant Coordinator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where they were responsible for overseeing all activities pertaining to the museum's grant strategy. This included locating funding sources, preparing grant proposals, communicating with and coordinating among internal and external stakeholders, and fulfilling reporting requirements. Kaylin also collaborated with the Development team to create non-grant funding proposals, stewardship reports, correspondence, and other writing needs for internal and external audiences. In addition, they served as project lead for annual stewardship reports for select donors, including conceptualization of content, writing, editing, and coordination with Creative Services for design and print/digital production.

Before their work at Crystal Bridges, Kaylin was an Editor at University of Arkansas Early Care and Education Projects and an Editorial Assistant at SIGNAL Journal. Kaylin also has experience as a business owner, having been the owner and editor of The Editor, LLC from 2012 to 2015.

Kaylin Mason holds a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and English from the same school.
