Shannon Eubanks is the current Director of Events at Walton Arts Center. Shannon has been working in the events industry for over 15 years. Shannon got their start in the events industry working as a Group Fitness Instructor and Program Coach at Florida Hospital from June 2008 to June 2014. In this role, Shannon was responsible for teaching weekly classes, creating monthly focus emails, casting quarterly launch teams, compiling cue notes, attending program coach meetings, and reporting on class and instructor progress. Shannon was also responsible for motivating and inspiring patrons of all ages to complete the class at their level, attend more classes, and work toward a healthier life overall.
In May 2004, Shannon began working as a Principal Performer with Walt Disney World. Shannon has completed 12 one-year contracts with Walt Disney World and is experienced in musical theater, music theory, dance, voice overs, Michael Curry Puppetry and FOY system. Shannon has also performed in theme park, commercial, print modeling, theater, live band, industrial, hosting, promotional, corporate and community events; lighting, audio, special effects, scenic and stage set-up systems. In addition to their performing roles, Shannon has also served as a Lead Acting Coach during rehearsal processes for Voyage of the Little Mermaid and as an AEA Deputy and Safety Representative.
Shannon Eubanks has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Arkansas. Shannon also has a certification in Contract Law: From Trust to Promise to Contract from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. In addition, Shannon Eubanks is certified in Leading with Effective Communication (Inclusive Leadership Training) from Catalyst Inc. and Heartsaver CPR & AED from the American Heart Association. Shannon is also a Notary Public from the Florida Notary Association.
