Earlier roles include Vice President Finance & Controller at XTRA Airways and various financial management positions at Spirit Airlines, where responsibilities encompassed financial planning and analysis. Amaro's career began at Ernst & Young LLP, where Jose served as Manager of Assurance & Advisory Services. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
