Lynn (Zukerman) Balan

Lynn (Zukerman) Balan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lynn currently holds the position of Senior Technical Product Manager at Wanderu, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Lynn pursued self-taught programming and became a Learning Computer Scientist in October 2022. During this time, they created and launched a full-stack app called BookBound for sharing favorite books.

Before their current role, Lynn worked at OrthoFi as a Senior Product Manager from January 2022 to October 2022. Lynn focused on launching competitive products, increasing patient conversion, and revenue growth. Additionally, they led the technical implementation of OrthoFi's software into sellable product modules. Prior to this, Lynn held the position of Technical Product Manager, Integrations from September 2020 to January 2022.

From January 2020 to September 2020, Lynn worked as a Product Manager, Integrations at UPshow. Prior to that, they were employed at Jellyvision, where they held multiple roles. As a Technical Product Manager from January 2018 to January 2020, they contributed to product development. Lynn also served as an Implementation Manager from December 2015 to December 2017, overseeing a team and handling renewals and upsells for SMBs. Lynn started their journey at Jellyvision as an Implementation Expert in June 2015.

Before joining Jellyvision, Lynn worked at The NPD Group as an Account Specialist and later as an Account Associate in the Food and Beverage Services division. Lynn provided insights, analyzed trends, and acted as a liaison between internal and external teams for brand projects. During their time at The NPD Group, they regularly held insight meetings with Consumer Insights Directors and Managers across various well-known brands.

Prior to their career in the corporate world, Lynn gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Arbor Scientific and Apollo Group. Lynn also worked as an English Instructor at Global Vision International before joining the University of Michigan as a Building Supervisor through the Recreation Department.

Lynn (Zukerman) Balan completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business between 2008 and 2012. Recently, Lynn obtained the edX Verified Certificate for CS50's Introduction to Computer Science from edX in January 2023.
