Sadie Fisher

Sadie Fisher is an experienced journalist and news anchor currently serving as the Morning News Anchor at WAOW since June 2022. Prior to this role, Sadie worked as a Multimedia Journalist/Anchor at WAOW, as well as a Social Media Editor for 14 East Magazine, where responsibilities included editorial newsletter creation and social media management. Involvement in leadership positions such as President of Sadie's Campus Media and VP of Integrity for the Beta Nu Chapter of Zeta Phi Eta highlight strong collaborative and communication skills. Sadie's diverse experience also encompasses reporting for Good Day DePaul, where recognition as the 2021-2022 Student of the Year was achieved. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Media and Cinema Studies from DePaul University.
