Jimmy Arteaga Grustein has an extensive and successful career in the media industry. Jimmy currently holds the role of Chief Content Officer at Hemisphere TV since 2024. Jimmy served as the Head of Programming, Promotion, and Acquisitions at Canal 1 Colombia, where they positioned the station as the No. 3 station in Colombia and achieved a rating growth of 500% in just 8 months. Jimmy also worked as the Vice President of Programming & Promotion at Wapa Televisión from 2008 until 2014, where they were responsible for developing and implementing the programming strategy, managing content acquisition and reducing costs, and evaluating ratings performance.

Earlier in their career, Jimmy was the President of Alomi Producciones, producing successful TV programs that aired in Peru and the US Hispanic market. Jimmy also served as a Board Member and General Manager at Frecuencia Latina Channel 2, where they successfully relaunched the network and positioned it as the No. 1 station in Peru on prime time.

Before that, Jimmy held roles at Videx International - Ledafilms, where they acted as the Vice President of International Distribution and significantly increased the value of their library, and also at Frecuencia Latina as the Head of Programming, Acquisitions, and Production. Jimmy started their career as the Founder & CEO of Televideo S.A., a distribution company in Lima, Peru, and as the Director of News & Business Development at Radio Television Peruana - Channel 7, where they were responsible for the development and production of news programs.

Throughout their career, Jimmy Arteaga Grustein has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive success, position stations as leaders in the industry, boost ratings, and achieve revenue growth.
