Dana Wachter

Dana Wachter is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in video storytelling and journalism. Currently serving as Communications Manager at War Child Canada since February 2022, Dana has extensive experience as a Digital Storyteller, Videographer, and Communications Consultant with Dasiwa Productions since November 2015. Previous roles include Communications Specialist and Videographer at the City of London, Communications Officer at Challenging Heights, and Emmy-nominated Anchor and Multi-Media Journalist at FOX Carolina. Dana holds a Master's degree in Globalization from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, complemented by studies at the University of Sydney. Throughout the career, Dana has focused on leveraging video and writing skills to share impactful stories, particularly for non-profit and social enterprise organizations.
