Dr. Rüdiger Stucke

Senior Vice President Head Of Quantitative Research at Warburg Pincus

Dr. Rüdiger Stucke's work experience includes positions at various companies and educational institutions. In 2004, they worked as an intern at Mercedes-Benz AG in management information systems. Dr. Rüdiger then went on to be a research associate in banking and finance at the University of St.Gallen in 2005. In the same year, they also had an internship in asset-backed finance at NORD/LB. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a research associate in banking and finance at Universität Paderborn. Dr. Rüdiger joined CalPERS as an intern in alternative investments in 2008. From 2009 to 2014, they served as an assistant professor and later as a research associate in finance and economics at the University of Oxford. In 2011, they were a Landmark Fellow in quantitative research at Landmark Partners. Finally, Dr. Stucke joined Warburg Pincus LLC in 2014, where they started as the director and head of quantitative research and later became the senior vice president and head of quantitative research.

Dr. Rüdiger Stucke obtained their Diplom (BSc & MSc) degree in Economics, Business Administration, and Computer Science from Paderborn University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Dr. Rüdiger then pursued further education at the same university and completed their Doktor (PhD) in Financial Economics and Private Equity from 2005 to 2008.
