Dan Morel

Dan Morel is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in engineering and product management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Warby Parker since October 2019, Dan has previously held key leadership roles including CTO at Beautycounter, where responsibilities included growing the tech team significantly and contributing to the company's revenue growth to over $200 million. Dan's earlier roles include Director of Engineering at Warby Parker, CTO and co-founder at Byte, VP of Tech and Product at WorkMarket, and CTO and co-founder at Peek, where Dan played a critical role in developing award-winning products. Dan's career began at Redknee, where Dan advanced rapidly from Sales Engineer to Director of Product Development and contributed to the company's path to IPO. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
