Aruna Dharshana

Aruna Dharshana currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Controller at Wardena Venture Holdings (Pvt) Ltd since February 2024. Previously, Aruna held the position of Head of Finance at BMICH from June 2021 to February 2024, overseeing financial reporting, treasury, procurement, and internal audit functions, alongside presenting performance reports to the Board of Directors. Aruna's extensive career includes roles as Regional Financial Controller, Financial Controller, and Management Accountant at PT Agro Harapan Lestari from March 2008 to August 2020, focusing on financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager in Group Finance at John Keells Holdings PLC, where preparations for consolidated financial statements and management accounts were key responsibilities. Aruna holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (2022-2024) and is a qualified ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (2001-2006).
