Darren Young

Darren Young has worked in various roles in the music industry. Darren started their career in 1996 as a General Manager at DBM Productions Ltd. Darren then moved on to Sony Music Entertainment UK Ltd, where they held several positions, including A&R Co-ordinator, Head of A&R Administration, and Senior A&R Administration Manager. In 2012, they became a Trainee Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin. Darren also worked as a Business Affairs Manager at Warner Music Group in 2015. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Lawyer at Simons Muirhead & Burton. Currently, they are the Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Warner Chappell Music since October 2019.

Darren Young pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (Bsc.) degree in Psychology from the University of Essex, which they completed between 1992 and 1995. Following this, they attended BPP Law School from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law. Continuing their legal education at the same institution, Young completed the Legal Practice Course from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Law.
