Alnita Tramell

Alnita Tramell has worked in the IT Business Systems field since 1997. Alnita began their career at EDS/HP Information Services as a Sr. IT Business Systems Consultant, followed by a role at PayPoint/Arco in the same capacity. In 1999, they joined Kaiser Permanente as a Sr. IT Business Consultant/Implementation Project Manager/Sr. Technical Documentation Specialist. In 2006, they moved to CMD Holdings, Inc as a Sr. IT Business Analyst and Sr. Documentation Specialist. Alnita then moved to Children's Hospital LA in 2008, where they served as a Sr. IT Business Systems Consultant and Documentation Specialist. Her most recent role is as a Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst at Warner Pacific Insurance Services, which they have held since 2009. In this role, they have consulted with the VP’s of Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing and Underwriting to define business requirements and interface with IT to deliver new applications and enhancements to existing applications that increase business revenue, streamline operations and foster a high level of customer satisfaction. Alnita has also coordinated and facilitated knowledge transfer between business units and technical teams, interfaced with technical teams to identify and clarify alternatives to meet business requirements, developed test scenarios prior to application delivery to business users, coordinated with internal QA to guarantee delivery of a fully functional requirements based application to sales, marketing, and underwriting departments, planned, coordinated and conducted application training, supported implementation of structured development and QA methodologies, and participated in strategic planning in support of preliminary analysis and evaluation of planned projects as the precursor to business case development.

Alnita Tramell received their B. S. in Communications from Syracuse University between 1976 and 1978. Alnita then attended the California School of Culinary Arts, where they obtained a Professional Certificate in Culinary Arts/Chef Training between 2006 and 2007. Finally, they obtained their National Certification as a Certified Herbologist from the East West School of Planetary Herbology between 2013 and 2016.
