Principal & Group Landscape Architecture Lead at Warren and Mahoney

Michael joins Warren and Mahoney as Principal and Group Landscape Architecture Lead.

Throughout his 25 year career, including 16 years with Boffa Miskell, Michael has led the landscape design and delivery of numerous high-profile projects, including Auckland’s Fort Street Area and Federal Street Precincts, the New Zealand International Convention Centre, and recently Heke Rua Archives New Zealand, Wellington.

His key strengths include developing a good understanding of his client needs and requirements with creative conceptual design to deliver memorable and often transformational places for people. With an interest in the human ecology of urban environments and social design practice, he brings an in-depth understanding of how places can shape our experiences and interactions; how spaces can create social, wellbeing and economic value.

Michael has regularly tutored and critiqued tertiary-level students at both Victoria University, Wellington and Unitec and currently serves on Unitec industry advisory panel.
