Ian Durant

Ian Durant joined Warren Partners in 2020 as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Employee Ownership Trust Board.

Ian, who is an experienced Chair and non-executive director, is currently non-executive Chair at food retailer and manufacturer Greggs Plc and furniture retailer DFS Plc; having previously held positions with Capital and Counties Properties where he was Chair of the Board, Greene King where he was Senior Independent Director, Home Retail Group where he was Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and Westbury where he chaired the Audit Committee.

Ian brings extensive experience of customer-focused, consumer-driven businesses and a strong background in finance and transformation in medium and large-sized listed companies. Notable roles include Finance Director at Liberty International plc and Group Finance Director at Thistle Hotels, Hong Kong Land and Dairy Farm International.
