Jose Cervantes

Jose Cervantes is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in oil and gas accounting. Currently serving as an Operations Accountant at Warren Resources Inc since January 2017, Jose has progressed from an Accounting Intern to a Staff Accountant within the company. Prior to this role, Jose was the President of the Accounting Society at The University of Texas at Arlington and worked as a Tutor for Fort Worth ISD, where responsibilities included mentoring students in time management and critical thinking. Additional experience includes a Tax Intern position at United Way of Tarrant County, where Jose achieved IRS Advanced Volunteer Certification and trained fellow volunteers. Jose holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington.
