Nicky Sloan

Nicky Sloan has a diverse range of work experience spanning various sectors. They began their career in 2011 as the CEO of Community Industry Group, a regional peak body for not-for-profit community and human service organizations. In this role, they were responsible for addressing issues related to disadvantage and vulnerable people, as well as representing the social services sector on boards and committees.

In 2014, Nicky Sloan became a member of the Community Consultative Committee at BlueScope, where they provided input and advice on community-related matters. They also served as a member of the Customer Council at Sydney Water from 2013 to 2022.

In the field of education, Nicky Sloan served as a member of the Advisory Council at TAFE NSW from 2015 to 2022. They also held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music starting in 2016.

Currently, Nicky is working towards a Bachelor's degree in Dementia Care at the University of Tasmania, which started in 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2023. Additionally, they are enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors for the Company Directors Course, which will be completed by 2022.
