Richard Zello

Richard Zello is a seasoned professional in the field of addiction counseling and mental health management, with extensive experience in various roles at Warriors Heart since January 2020, including Utilization and Review Specialist, Case Manager, and Medical Records Manager. Prior to this, Richard served as Team Lead for the Outpatient Program at Warriors Healing Center, where the first Intensive Outpatient Program exclusively for veterans was developed. Experience at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center encompasses roles as Program Manager for outpatient services and Military Therapist, specializing in care for military personnel and families. Richard has also contributed as an instructor at the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies and served as an Addiction Counselor in the United States Air Force and Mission Vista Hospital. Richard holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wayland Baptist University.
