Laura Powell MBA MSc FCMI MCIPD is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in various HR roles. Currently, Laura serves as the Head of HR for the UK and the People Support Hub Lead for South & West Europe at Wärtsilä since February 2017, previously holding positions including HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior HR Officer and HR Officer at Portsmouth City Council from November 2014 to February 2017, and as an HR Advisor at Snell from February 2010 to August 2014, where Laura supported approximately 210 employees across multiple locations. Laura's academic background includes an MBA in Strategic Leadership and a Master’s in Human Resources Management, both obtained from the University of Portsmouth.
