Rigel Galindo

Rigel Galindo is a Solutions Engineer at Wärtsilä since June 2022, responsible for delivering over 250MWh BESS projects for the California ISO and designing site networks adhering to cybersecurity best practices. Previously, Rigel served as a Product Specialist at Bazefield, integrating fleets of 40 wind farms and automating reports. As a SCADA Conversions SME at Open Systems International from January 2019 to January 2022, Rigel led technical efforts for SCADA conversions post-Emerson-OSI acquisition and managed database configurations. Additionally, Rigel has experience as a UNESCO/AGH research fellow focusing on computer vision and SLAM algorithms, as a Sales Consultant at KEYENCE CORPORATION in automotive quality inspection, and as a Technology Platforms Intern at CEMEX. Rigel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications and Microelectronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and is currently pursuing a BatteryMBA.
