Brittany Carr

Brittany Carr currently serves as the Assistant Director for Pre-Health Professions at Washington and Lee University, a position held since May 2018, where responsibilities include coordination for the W&L Health Professions Advisory Committee within the Office of Career and Professional Development. Previous experience includes serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Tidewater Community College for the Funeral Services Program from August 2021 to August 2023, alongside roles in the funeral industry such as Funeral Director and Embalmer at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home (July 2016 - May 2018) and Funeral Service Intern at Weymouth Funeral Home Inc (September 2012 - June 2016). Brittany Carr began in the field as a Funeral Assistant at Elmore-Chambers Funeral Home from September 2008 to December 2010. Academically, Brittany Carr holds a Master of Education in Higher Education from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Services from Tidewater Community College.
