Marina Martinez is an experienced public health professional with a diverse background in program management, quality improvement, and research. Currently serving as Program Manager for the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Marina oversees multiple initiatives aimed at increasing pediatric vaccination rates and provides training for healthcare professionals. Prior roles include Research Assistant at the Timothy A. DeRouen Center for Global Oral Health, where Marina contributed to NIH grant projects, and Senior Quality Improvement Specialist at Sea Mar Community Health Centers, leading training programs and quality assessments across numerous clinics. Additionally, Marina has held management positions in retail and has experience in market research, administrative support, and grant writing. Marina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Washington and is pursuing a Master of Public Health from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
