Michael Barsotti

Michael Barsotti serves as the Immediate Past President of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics since July 2021, previously holding the role of President. Currently, Michael holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer for Children's Services in Eastern Washington and serves as the Executive Medical Director for the Women's and Children's Institute at Providence since December 2016. Michael also has been the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital since August 2016. Earlier in their career, Michael was a Neonatologist at Valley Children's Healthcare from August 2013 to August 2016 and served as the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital from June 2000 to August 2013. Michael earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine between 1982 and 1986 and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of California, Davis from 1978 to 1982.
