William Belden

William Belden, Ed.D., currently serves as the Workforce Policy Associate at the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges since February 2021. Prior to this role, William was the Vice President of Student Affairs at Clark College from August 2010 to December 2020, where William oversaw services for over 10,000 students, including 2,400 dual enrollment students. William also held the position of Dean of Student Services and Enrollment Management at Green River College from September 1995 to July 2010, leading efforts in enrollment management and student success for a diverse student body. William began their career as a Graduate Intern at Whatcom Community College and worked as a Counselor/Instructor at Northern Marianas College. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Oregon State University, a Master of Education in Student Personnel Administration from Western Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.
