Gladys Hernandez-Cruz is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and engineering. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since January 2022, Gladys has also held roles such as Secretary at North Creek Christian Fellowship and Spanish Medical Interpreter at Intellect LLC. Prior experience includes teaching Spanish and Math at Renton Prep Christian School and multiple substitute teaching positions at KSDA School & PSAA. Gladys' engineering expertise was developed during tenure as a Design Engineer at Boeing, managing projects for major aircraft, and at the US Army Corps of Engineers, designing hydraulic structures. Educational qualifications include a BSE in Civil Engineering from Walla Walla University and a Pre-Engineering degree from Universidad Adventista de las Antillas, complemented by training as a real estate appraiser.
