Julia Luna

Julia Luna is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and communications across various organizations. Currently serving as Communications Manager for the Washington Education Association since April 2023, Julia previously held significant roles, including Senior Program Manager and Program Lead at SEIU 775 Benefits Group. Prior experience includes positions at ACT Theatre, Puget Sound Partnership, and Public School Employees of Washington, where Julia was responsible for media relations, social media management, and communications strategy. Julia began their career in the arts as a Director and Teaching Artist at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. Julia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Central Washington University and a high school diploma from Kennedy Catholic High School.
