Michelle H. has experience teaching English as a Second Language at Washington English Center. Michelle also served as PTSA President at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and worked as a Legislative Analyst and Public Affairs Specialist at the National Science Foundation. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master's degree in Public Administration, and a TESOL Certification from Montgomery College.

Washington English Center (WEC) provides affordable English-language instruction and workforce development programs to adult immigrants using volunteers. We have worked with thousands of students from more than 100 countries. With a small staff of just nine, WEC is able to fulfill its mission through the commitment of an army of trained volunteer teachers, tutors, and job coaches. For 30 years, WEC has continued to thrive in this community thanks to the generous support of individual donors, corporate sponsors, and other local funders.
