Jillian Johnsen is a seasoned organizer with extensive experience in union engagement, internal organizing, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Special Project Organizer at WFSE, AFSCME Council 28 since July 2021, Jillian focuses on enhancing union membership through direct conversations with workers. Previously, as an Internal Organizer for AFSCME Local 88-3, Jillian successfully launched campaigns to tackle workplace discrimination. Jillian's background also includes roles such as Bilingual Housing Case Manager at Transition Projects, where support was provided to individuals experiencing houselessness, and multiple positions in political campaigns, where strategic plans were developed to mobilize volunteers and engage constituents.
