Thomas McDonagh

Thomas (Tom) McDonagh has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Thomas (Tom) currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Washington Hospital Healthcare System. Prior to this, they held the same position at Yakima Valley Memorial and Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). At both organizations, they were responsible for various financial functions, such as budgeting, treasury, tax, and risk management.

Before their roles in the healthcare industry, McDonagh worked as the Principal at McDonagh Consulting LLC, where they provided financial and strategic consulting services to various industries. Thomas (Tom) also had a long tenure at Providence, where they held several senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President - Finance Operations - Treasurer, Vice President - Chief Investment Officer, and Assistant Vice President - Finance and Human Resources.

McDonagh began their career at Nordstrom, where they served as the Executive Director of Human Resources. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in finance, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational leadership.

Thomas (Tom) McDonagh (He/Him/His) earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Washington State University from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the same institution. In addition, they obtained a certification titled "Starting a Memorable Conversation" from LinkedIn in 2022.
