Enrique Ramos

Enrique Ramos is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in special education and a strong commitment to high-quality instruction. As a founding staff member at Washington Leadership Academy Public Charter School since July 2016, Enrique has contributed to the school achieving the highest rating in Washington, D.C. From July 2013 to July 2016, Enrique served as a Special Education Teacher within the Hawaii State Department of Education, teaching seventh to twelfth grades and primarily focusing on Social Studies at Pahoa High and Intermediate. Additionally, Enrique provided support and guidance to Teach For America Corps Members during a tenure that began in July 2013. Prior to these roles, Enrique developed communication skills as a Customer Service Representative at REI. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Secondary Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Maryland.
