Eric G. Tombs Sr.

Eric G. Tombs Sr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transportation engineering and education. Currently serving as a Senior Specialty Engineer and Bus Traffic Control Engineer at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority since April 2013, Eric Tombs has successfully led the Traffic Signal Priority Project for transit bus operations. In addition to this role, Eric Tombs has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the Community College of Baltimore County since December 2016, where instruction focuses on Tomiki Aikido, self-defense, and safety awareness. Previously, from February 2003 to March 2013, Eric Tombs held the position of Transportation Manager and Traffic Team Leader at the Maryland State Highway Administration, overseeing traffic engineering matters in Western Baltimore County.
