Gabriel Pincus is an accomplished Data Science & Research Manager and Data Scientist at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), where responsibilities include developing data transformation and machine learning pipelines, establishing a research governance framework, and managing ridership model enhancements. As Founder and CEO of Sage Cities, Gabriel provides consulting services aimed at leveraging technology and data to improve municipal services across various sectors. Previous experience includes a Data Science Internship with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where Gabriel developed real-time dashboards and supported ridership model development, as well as roles at Chemonics International focusing on governance and waste management projects. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban Science and Informatics from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
