Matthew Letourneau currently serves as the Principal Director of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, representing Virginia on the WMATA Board of Directors since February 2020. Additionally, Letourneau has been the Dulles District Supervisor for Loudoun County Government since January 2012, with previous election wins in 2011, 2015, and 2019, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board's Finance, Government Operations, and Economic Development Committee. Since February 2009, Letourneau has also been the Managing Director of Communications for the Global Energy Institute at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Previous experience includes roles as Republican Communications Director for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Pete Domenici. Letourneau holds a degree in Politics from The Catholic University of America (1998-2002).
